Nick Pitts serves as the Director of Communications and Governmental Affairs at Atmos Energy. He previously served as the Executive Director for the Institute on Global Engagement at Dallas Baptist University. He has authored op-eds in publications such as the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, co-hosted a weekly radio show, and provided commentary on various cable news outlets concerning current issues. In 2021, the Dallas chapter of the Public Relation’s Society of America named him one of the Top 40 under 40. 

Originally from Tennessee, Nick is married to Lauren, and they have 2 girls, Dottie (3) and Fran (2). He graduated (almost with honors) from Clarksville High School and with a PhD from Dallas Baptist University. He is involved with various organizations here in Dallas, including serving on the advisory board of Council for Life and chairing the board of the Dallas Christian Leadership Prayer Breakfast.
