Film Synopsis: In the first installment of this feature-length documentary series, Jay Denton, owner of ENDURE Studios, travels to Beirut to seek out and produce music with Syrian and Iraqi refugees who have fled the dangerous conditions in their homelands. The challenges are tremendous. He is not fluent in the language and the situation on the ground in Beirut can be tricky to navigate. Not one to shy away from difficulties, Jay jumps in headfirst and quickly befriends a group of talented musicians and singers who are thrilled to be able to tell their stories through the medium of music. It is a cathartic story of tragedy, of hope, of pain, and of love. After all, music is one of the few languages on earth that can be universal.
