Ministry Partners of the Hope Center participated in a Flag Raising Ceremony on Wednesday, December 21.

CG Maclin, who serves with Marketplace Chaplains, opened the patriotic ceremony with an invocation.  The flag ceremony was officiated by Boy Scout Troop # 198, headed by Scoutmaster Ken Myers.

Three flags were raised: the American Flag, the Texas flag, and the Christian flag – each flag honored by their given pledge, led by Ben Myers.  Jim Sullivan, Boy Scout’s Circle 10 District Director, also participated in the program with a pointed message on the importance of patriotism.  1^st Lieutenant Jared Ray of the 101^st Airborne Division, US Army, closed the ceremony with prayer.
